Consignment Services
BCD Electro will process and warehouse our clients’
surplus electronic components and high technology
equipment. We can provide logistical support
to facilitate the movement of the material.
After processing the received material BCD will
market our clients’ products through its global
network of purchasers. Proceeds from sales are
divided and reports are provided detailing all
sales and remaining inventory. Historically,
we have found that this arrangement provides
the highest return for our clients.
Exclusive Partnering
For our larger clients, BCD Electro routinely
enters into exclusive partnering agreements
to market electronic component and/or high technology
equipment inventory housed within our clients’
facilities. This eliminates our clients’ needs
to ship large inventories to our facilities.
It also allows title to remain with our clients
until the inventory product is sold. Alternatively,
product title may remain with our clients while
their inventory is at BCD Electro warehouses.
Price Floor Setting
Customers operating under one of BCD Electro’s
partnering solutions are free to set minimum
target prices, if desired, to achieve a predetermined
return of standard cost. BCD works closely with
our customers on these minimum target prices
to achieve the highest returns in the shortest
timeframe.
Inter-company Remarketing
Many corporations are comprised of multiple
business units to increase efficiency. Unfortunately,
disparate goals of each unit cause breakdowns
in communication. Write offs often occur letting
go of assets that are both useful and needed
in other parts of your organization. BCD can
market excess component inventories across your
corporate supply chain personnel. With this
method, pricing can be attained via a standard
cost model. BCD charges only to handle and maintain
inventory.
